- March 22, 2022: Far-UVC is so effective in eliminating SARS-CoV-2, it can add up to 184 eACH (equivalent air exchange per hour) to a room based on recent study.
Scientific Reports (nature.com)
- 30, 2021: The ACGIH (American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists) increased the Threshold Limit Values for the amount of 222 nm UV-C exposure from 23 mJ/cm2 to 161 mJ/cm2 for the eyes and 479 mJ/cm2 for skin, or an increase of 7 times and over 20 times, respectively, reflecting the vast amount of data showing that this wavelength of light does not penetrate the most superficial layer of the stratum corneum or tear layer.
- March 17, 2020: TheiaUV’ innovative UV sterilization lamp kills >99.996% of SARS-Cov-2 in independent lab study conducted by MRI Global, a biosafety level-3 laboratory.
In addition, the study established that for surface disinfection, Theia’s device is able to achieve 3-log reduction in SARS-CoV-2 with dosage of 3.37 ml/cm2.
- March 17, 2020: Based on independent lab study, TheiaUV can eradicate over 99% of Coronavirus in 1/10 of a second.
